1. The Melaka Sultanate Palace Museum


Located in Malacca, Malaysia is a reconstructed palace of the Malacca’s sultans. It symbolizes the history of the whole Malaccan region. The museum displays the region’s collection of artifacts, prints, photographs, and different art works made by the residents of the community during the Melaka period. The palace museum is a three storey building with three galleries and a total of eight chambers presenting the royal weaponries, bands, halls and the royal gifts. 2. The Saint Paul Church in Malacca


Built by the Portuguese in 1521, and is one of the five Portuguese made churches in the hill. It is located on the top of the Saint Paul’s hill. Its ruins still remained to be a beautiful church and if visited by many tourists regularly.

3. The A Formosa Fortress


Meaning “the famous” in Portuguese. This is built by the Portuguese during the 1500’s and is the one of the best historical site in Malaysia. the fortress has been a big part of the Malaysian history and culture for it witnessed a lot of changes and came to the hand of many foreign evaders during the early eras. One can enjoy here the view of the magnificent ruins of the ancient structures and have a glimpse of a true Malaysian history.

4. The Stadthuys


Built in the year 1650 and was the official residence of the Dutch governors and other officers. The whole structure is of Dutch architecture designs and is a different look among the other Malaysian buildings. The place has mow become an Ethnography Museum and is open for public viewings. The museum displays the traditional bridal outfits, the remains of the ancient Malaccan items and artifacts, and other historical materials. There are also houses around Stadthuys where locals live and stay.

5. The Bukit China


Located in the northeast part of Malacca, is the oldest and largest Chinese cemetery outside China. There is a vast number of graves in Bukit, in roughly 12500, some even dates back in the 17th century. Many historian teams have been fascinated by the place and are one of the well known subjects in the history of Malaysia.

6. Kampung Kling Mosque


An old mosque in Malacca, Malaysia built in 18th century by the Indian Muslims. It has a Sumatran design with a wooden roof that is three-tiered. It is one of the well known historical sites in Malaysia and is a famous destination for many tourists.

7. The Cheng Hoon Teng


Is a Buddhist temple located in Jalan, Tokong Malacca and is the oldest operating temple in Malaysia. The mosque is pretty spacious with an area of 4,600 square meters. It has numerous prayer halls and later added with small prayer quarters. It also has a seven meter long flag pole that is the most remarkable feature of the place. Many tourists and travelers have visited the place and were very mush astound with its remarkable and delightful features.

Death will not announce itself before you come face to face with it. It will creep up on you and snatch your life away without any explanations. The following individuals saw death very closely but managed to escape it.

1. Isidro Mejia


Mejia was working at a construction site when his foot slipped and he fell. His fall was broken by six nails that were 3.5 inches long. They entered his skull and neck and technically, he should have died on the spot but he did not and is alive and kicking today.

2. Richard Blass


This man escaped death not once but several times. The first time he managed to get away unscathed after a mafia attempt. The second time he managed to run out of the motel he was staying at as it burst into flames. The third time he was shot in the head but did not die. He spent time in prison twice but managed to escape both times. The man finally died when somebody shot at him 23 times.

3. Ahad Israfil


In 1987, after a gun was discharged accidentally, half of Israfil’s brain was blown off who was 14 at the time. He miraculously survived and graduated with flying colors. The hole that was made was filled with a particular kind of silicone block.

4. Vesna Vulovic


After the airplane was hijacked by a group of terrorists; this flight attendant had no choice but to jump out of the plane. This 22 year old realized that she did not have a parachute when she was 33,000 feet above ground level. She fractured her skull, broke her legs and parts of her spine.

5. Ludger Sylbaris


Sylbaris was locked up in an under-ground prison before the Pelee erupted. The heat managed to enter his cell and burned most of his body. His clothes did not catch fire and he tried to avoid breathing in the pungent air. He was among the few who managed to survive this fatal eruption.

6. Shannon Malloy


Shannon Malloy met with an accident because of which her skull and spin got detached and all the surrounding tendons and ligaments opened out. She did not die and had to undergo several surgeries.

7. Roy Sullivan


Most of us tend to stay out of a thunderstorm lest we get hit by lightening even though the chances are quite slim. That being said, it is practically impossible for an individual to get struck by lightening not once, but twice. This individual was struck seven times and lived to tell the tale.

8. Ann Hodges


Ann Hodges was sleeping in her living room when a small meteoroid entered her house, bounced off the radio and hit her hip and arm. She was not injured apart from a few bruises and did not find it difficult to walk around. This meteorite can be seen at the Alabama Museum of Natural History today.

9. Ben Carpenter


This 21 year old was wheelchair bound when he was hit by a truck. He was dragged on for about 4 miles and the truck driver said that he could not see Carpenter and his wheelchair.

10. Phineas Gage


Gage was working at a railway track when an iron bar shot up and entered his skull through his cheek bone. Gage was walking around when he was found and the iron bar was removed. His brain had an infection and his social skills were inhibited but other than that, he was okay.
