AMAZING PLACE : MEORAKI BOULDERS, NEW ZEALAND

These large, spherical, alien and strangely beautiful boulders are mainly located on Koekohe Beach, part of the Otago coast of New Zealand’s South Island. Known as “Moeraki Boulders” they were originally formed on the sea floor from sedimentary deposits that accreted around a core in the same way that a pearl will form around a particle of sand. The erosion of the cliffs often reveals these boulders from the surrounding mudstone allowing them to join those already on the beach. Some of the larger boulders weigh several tonnes and can be up to three metres wide.Maori legend attributes their origin to the arrival of the first ancestors / giants who came in the great Araiteuru canoe which was sunk by three great waves at nearby Matakaea.

THE MOERAKI BOULDERS OF NEW ZEALAND

It is said by the Maoris that some of the surviving crew of the Araiteuru canoe were turned into stone and became mountains. The Moeraki boulders are said to be the pots and chattels from the canoe.

AMAZING PLACE : PAMUKKALE, TURKEY

The strange and weirdly beautiful terraced pools of Pamukkale have been appreciated for over two millennia and yet still remain a little known wonder of the world. Thousands of years ago earthquakes, which are common in Turkey, created fractures that allowed powerful hot springs to bring water rich in calcium carbonate to the surface. As the water evaporated the chalky material condensed and formed layer-upon-layer of Travertine and thus slowly built up the walls over time in the same way that a stalactite forms in a cave. Apparently Pammakale means Castle of Cotton but the Greco-Romans built a town above it called Heirapolis – meaning “Holy City” or “Sacred City”. They too recognised it as a rare and important place attributing healing powers to the milky-white waters.

Pamukkale is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the pools have been closed to the tourists that once bathed in their waters to save them from further damage.

Eddie Murphy Hasn't Had A Drink In 18 Years

Eddie Murphy literally hasn't had a drop of alcohol since 1993.
He says that the taste of alcohol makes him nauseous.

He said:

"I don't drink at all. At all. I can't drink, because I will throw up. And sometimes it looks like the drinkers are having so much fun and I cannot."

That sounds pretty bad, but at least he's probably got the healthiest liver out of all his friends.

About the last time he got drunk he said:

"The last time I got drunk was… on my honeymoon, maybe 18 years ago. And that was the second time I got drunk and it was the last time. I was just thinking, you know, it's all good, I only had three glasses of champagne. It don't take a lot… I was feeling great for about five minutes, (thinking) this is a wonderful honeymoon."

Then, we're assuming, he proceeded to bazooka barf all over his new wife.

Sounds like a good reason to quit drinking to us. LOLz!

Kim Kardashian's Gifts Need to Be Returned, Not Donated: Etiquette Expert

Kim Kardashian's heart may be in the right place with her decision to donate money and possibly the wedding gifts after her 72-day marriage – but according to an expert who specializes in etiquette, the Kourtney and Kim Take New York star's choice is "inappropriate."

"The gifts should be returned to the givers if the wedding is dissolved within a short timeframe like hers was," Lizzie Post, author of Emily Post's Etiquette 18th Edition, tells PEOPLE. "I don't want to come across as saying that charity wouldn't be a great way to handle it. It's just that in that case, you're making a charitable donation on someone else's behalf under your name."

Post, who says Kardashian, 31, now comes off as undeservingly "generous," adds that the reality star will also "get a huge tax write-off for them, because I am sure they are not Target gifts."

Kardashian, who filed for divorce from NBA player Kris Humphries on Monday, says she will donate "the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation."

But a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE they may still also return the gifts. "They'll figure it out sometime soon," says the source. "They genuinely feel horrible."

Adds the source about Kardashian's frame of mind: She's been particularly mortified when considering her wedding's epic scale and "all the hard work, all the people that got involved."

Value Undisclosed

Kardashian's donation, according to the foundation's president, Thomas W. Rollerson, speaking to ABC News, will be a "symbolic donation in the value of the gifts she received." Rollerson did not disclose how much money that amounts to.

But, according to Post, "Even if she donates ... in the name of the sender, that's inappropriate, too, because then you're making a donation and you don't know how the person feels about the charity."

The only exception, she says, is "when [gifts have] been used or if they've been monogrammed or personalized in some way."

Post also advises including notes to accompany the presents being sent back.

What you want to say in that note is, 'Thank you so much for your generosity; however, our marriage is going to be dissolved,' " she says. "Then you end it with, 'Thank you so much for your support and understanding.' "

Post, 29, wishes to emphasize that she is not criticizing Kardashian as a person. In fact, she's going through a breakup of her own at the moment. "People close to Kim should support her at this time and not judge her," the etiquette expert says. "This is something really difficult to go through."

Emily Post Family Bitch Fight Over Kardashian Wedding Gifts

Emily Post literally wrote the book on proper wedding etiquette ... but now, her famous descendants are butting heads on what Kim Kardashian should do with her wedding gifts.

On one side, Emily's great-granddaughter-in-law Peggy Post -- who wrote an article in The New York Times just three months ago, explaining how gifts should be returned if the wedding is canceled, or if the couple "seeks to end the marriage almost immediately (say within a month or two)."

Since Kim and Kris just inched past the two month mark ... they're in the clear with Peggy.

But on the other side of the etiquette battle is Emily's great-great-granddaughter, Lizzie Post -- who told the New York Daily News, "after just 72 days, the gifts must be returned to the wedding guests."

As we previously reported, Kim is not returning the gifts -- instead, she's making a $200k donation to her favorite charity.

Sources close to Kim tell us ... KK feels the gifts were given out of love and she doesn't feel an obligation to return them to the sender. But we're told Kim understands her marriage was short, and decided the donation was a good compromise.

So WWEPD? Unclear, since she died back in 1960.

Shia Labeouf's Neighbours Win Wall Battle

Shia Labeouf's neighbours have won a legal battle to keep a seven-foot high wall, built to keep prying paparazzi off their property.

Officials at Los Angeles City Council have voted not to order Joe and Orit Picker to destroy the wall they built without proper permission, despite complaints from Sherman Oaks, California locals.

LaBeouf was among the neighbours who gave the couple the thumbs-up to build the wall on their property after they complained that Hollywood paparazzi had repeatedly trespassed on their land while trying to take snaps of the Transformers star.

Councilman Paul Koretz fought for the Pickers against zoning officials, stating photographers often entered the Pickers' property to get shots of the movie star on his patio.

Selena Gomez - Selena Gomez Wants Glee Role

Selena Gomez wants to guest star in 'Glee'.

The singer-and-actress recently worked with hunky Cory Monteith - who plays Finn Hudson in the musical TV show - in new movie 'Monte Carlo' and admitted she had spoken to both him and their co-star, 'Gossip Girl' actress Leighton Meester, about taking on a cameo role in their programmes.

She said: "I would love to have a cameo in 'Glee' or 'Gossip Girl'. I've recently worked on the movie 'Monte Carlo' with Leighton Meester - who plays Blair Waldorf in 'Gossip Girl' and Cory Monteith, who plays Finn Hudson in 'Glee' and I've always joked to them that I would take on a role in their shows in a heartbeat but unfortunately they're not the ones who make the casting decisions."

Selena recently finished work on the final episodes of her TV programme, Disney's 'Wizards of Waverly Place' and although she is hoping to pursue a film career, the 19-year-old star admitted saying goodbye to her character Alex Russo, was one of the hardest things she has ever had to do.

She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "My TV show 'Wizards of Waverly Place' filmed its last episode earlier this year so I would love to do a little bit more film work because I haven't done that much of it so far so I think that's the direction I want to go in next.

"Finishing on the show and filming my final scenes was one of the hardest things I had to do because obviously my character Alex was such a big part of my life for so long, I'm going to miss everybody from the show so much but they are still a big part of my life and we'll always stay in touch."

The 2011 MTV EMA airs live from Belfast Sunday, 6th November at 9pm on MTV.

Henry Cavill Impressed With Superman Physique

Henry Cavill has admitted he is impressed with his own body for the new Superman movie 'Man of Steel' Henry Cavill still can't believe the physique he achieved to play Superman in 'Man of Steel'.

The British actor didn't want to rely on CGI (computer-generated imagery) or make-up to provide him with the perfect body to play the superhero so he undertook a gruelling exercise regime instead but admitted he is still shocked he pulled it off. Speaking in the December issue of Britain's Men's Health magazine, he said: "I had a big sense of pride. I was like, 'No shading. I don't want you to draw abs on me. I don't want you to put dirt in the right places. I just want to do it myself. I want to have the body.'

"I think the best thing I learned was that I can do it. A lot of people think they probably can't, until they actually do. When I saw pictures I would say 'Is that me?' You don't quite realise. It taught me that anything is possible."

While getting in shape for his role in 'Man of Steel' was tough, Henry revealed he eventually grew to love working out. He said: "It's a great feeling to be in shape and strong. I don't mean that in an arrogant way at all. But you go to the gym and train hard every day and you learn how far you can push yourself. That becomes rewarding in itself."

Nicolas Cage's son Weston has filed for divorce from his wife after six months of marriage. The rocker filed documents on 27 October (11) to start divorce proceedings from Nikki Williams.

Gary Barlow Auctions Off Tickets To Sell-Out Solo Shows

British singer Gary Barlow is giving disappointed fans the chance to bid for tickets to his first full solo shows in more than a decade after the two gigs sold out within minutes.

The Take That star is set to perform at London's Royal Albert Hall on 5 and 6 December (11) and fans rushed to snap up tickets when they were made available on Friday (28Oct11), leaving many disappointed.

But Barlow is now auctioning off prime seats at the gigs to raise funds for The Prince's Trust charity - and he's been left stunned by the interest in his concerts. He says, "I've been overwhelmed at the response for both shows which sold out on Friday.

"Fans will be glad to know we've kept some back with great views of the stage to auction off to the highest bidder so we can make as much money as we possibly can for The Prince's Trust."

Kristen Stewart Shows Up At Robert Pattinson's

With Kristen Stewart away, Robert Pattinson had been entertaining reporters at a press conference on Friday , telling them the wedding scene for forthcoming 'Twilight' film 'Breaking Dawn - Part 1' was in fact real and that he and his brunette co-star were in fact actually married. Laughing all the way, Pattinson also joked that everyone was keen to give their opinion on the first ever sex scene to take place between the pair - according to OK! Magazine - stating "the studio chief came in and was like, 'Just let me borrow Kristen for a second. I'll show you. I'll give you a demonstration.'"

However, away from the glare of the media scrum and away from the cameras, things between the pair seem to be hotting up too, Stewart being snapped as she arrived at Robert's West London apartment yesterday (October 31st 2011) by the UK's Daily Mail. Whilst Pattinson has been doing the promotional rounds for 'Twilight' with fellow co-star Ashley Greene, 21 year-old Stewart has instead been busy in the UK filming 'Snow White And The Huntsmen', meaning that the pair have had precious little time to spend with one another.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given her recent work load, Stewart look tired as she arrived at the apartment around lunchtime wearing a baggy charcoal sweater to keep out the cold; Pattinson had turned up to the home two days previously. The pair will be together for the US promotional leg of the 'Twilight' film; 'Breaking Dawn - Part 1' is to be put on release on November 18th 2011.

All of the broadcast networks faced competition from NFL football on ESPN on cable.

Britney Spears To Make Acting Comeback In 2012

Britney Spears is planning to make her acting comeback in 2012 - and she wants to turn bad for her big screen return. The Toxic hitmaker made her feature film debut in 2002's Crossroads, which was panned by critics and only pulled in $61 million (£38 million) at the international box office.

Spears has stayed away from movies since the project, but now the pop superstar admits she's eager to give acting another shot - and has her sights set on playing against type. She says, "Definitely next year I am going to take a different route. I see myself being a detective, assassin or even a bad girl."

Justin Bieber's Team Ready To Fight 'Malicious' Baby Lawsuit

Justin Bieber's representative has vowed to fight a lawsuit alleging the singer fathered a fan's child, dismissing the accusation as "malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false". According to online reports, a 20-year-old woman from California has filed a paternity suit against the singer, 17, claiming she fell pregnant after the pair had sex backstage at a concert in Los Angeles.

Bieber's camp is vehemently denying the claims made in the alleged lawsuit, and his reps warn they will use "all available legal remedies" to prove the allegation false. In a statement to Tmz.com, Bieber's rep says, "While we haven't yet seen the lawsuit, it's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims. "We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations."
