Namib Desert or Place Where There’s Nothing


Namib Desert – in translation from the local means “a place where there is nothing” and this pretty well describes it. Just look at these images below with endless sea of sand dunes and you’ll see why they named it this way. There are very few animals and plants that inhabit this dry climate, but is only a few drops of rain sprinkle it, the desert suddenly wakes up, starts bright and active life.
