The source of the epidemic: the use of water in Haiti

In Haiti, the continuing outbreak of cholera. Ill have 57,000 people, and the number of dead has already exceeded 1,3 thousand. Cholera is an acute intestinal infection that causes severe diarrhea leading to dehydration. Disease spreads at lightning speed in the absence of a proper level of sanitary norms and availability of clean drinking water. Collected in this release images enable us to estimate the scale of poor sanitation, which reigns in the capital, Port-au-Prince.
