Lindsay Lohan after Heath Ledger's death: 'I'm in love with him'

Lindsay Lohan confessed to having a secret relationship with doomed Oscar-winning star Heath Ledger, according to her diary, written in a girly pink pen. “Today Heath died,” Lohan reportedly penned on January 22, 2008. “I’m in love with him … He was the love of my life. He taught me so much, and he was everything I’ve ever wanted and more. I want to hear him laugh and hold me. I crave his touch and care.”

Star magazine, via RadarOnline.com, obtained the journal kept by the troubled starlet, who broke down in tears after hearing of the “Brokeback Mountain” star’s death from an overdose of prescription drugs at 28. “When a person dies the world stops,” Lohan wrote. “I’m numb.” Lohan, who has infamously fought her own battles against drug and alcohol abuse, was reportedly planning on visiting Ledger in New York City before his life was cut short.

Lohan’s mother, Dina Lohan, reportedly told Lohan’s father, Michael Lohan, that the “Mean Girls” star was “dating Heath when he died.” At the time of his death, Ledger was separated from his long-time partner and mother of his child, Michelle Williams.
