Did you know that looking at magazines for just 60 minutes lowers the self-esteem of over80 per cent of girls? Well, that's the statistics in the U.K. it seems.
So severe is thisproblem that celebrities like Britney Spears is participating in aproject designed to boost self-esteem of school kids.
Britney posed fora series of photos which reveal actual images vs. doctored ones. Thisnew programme teaches how the media and magazines show “a degree ofperfection which is unattainable".
"I want childrento recognise from an early stage that their value is worth more thantheir physical appearance," British MP Lynne Featherstone said.
Apart fromBritney, other celebs involved in this project include MatthewMcConaughey, Keira Knightley and wife of French president, ex modelCarla Bruni.
