Indonesian bridge collapse death toll rises

Rescuers say the number of people killed when a bridge collapsed in central Indonesia has climbed to 11, with more than 30 others missing and feared dead.



Rescuers hunted for survivors on Sunday after a busy bridge spanning the Mahakam river in Indonesia's Borneo island collapsed, killing four people and injuring 19 others, according to officials. A public bus, cars and motorcycles plunged into Mahakam river in Kutai Kartanegara district after the 720 m long structure collapsed on Saturday
